So my little girl is 3, and loves her DSi she got for Christmas. One of the games Daddy got her is Disney Princess Magical Jewels.
In Magical Jewels you get to play as a different princesses, and collect the magical jewels. This is not a good beginning game for your little princess. It does not read the instructions out loud, so she needed some help figuring out what to do. Watching me play a few times showed her the point, and she did enjoy playing it. Each level is very similar, which is a negative and can get kind of repetitive. A positive is what little girl doesn't want to play as Snow White? In another year when she is four, I think it will be right up her alley. For her age I'll give this game 3 of 5 stars.
Lovely Lisa...This is a really cute game my little one really likes. Unfortunately it's MIA right now, and she asks for it daily. Whoever designed these cartridges to be so small really should have thought it over again. My biggest fear is I accidentally sucked it up in the vacuum cleaner and it's forever gone. If that's the case, I'll buy another one. Yes it's that good. Lexi really enjoys this game. It doesn't read the instructions out loud, so she needed some help getting started.
The basics of this game are great for little girls. You get to do all kinds of fun to kids grown up stuff. Like clean up the kid's mess, put on makeup, play with a puppy, go shopping, and more. You can also be a nurse, and give a shot so it doesn't hurt, be a policewoman, and work at other jobs as well. Since the game is MIA, we have not unlocked everything yet. It's a definite keeper though, and would buy it again in a heartbeat. It would probably be even better for a 4-5 yr. old, but Lexi really digs it. I'd give this game 4 out of 5 stars as well.
